The Barbados Customs and Excise Department wishes to inform all Customs Brokers and Welcome Stampers that there is a new Customs Procedure Code (CPC 937) for the Barbados Welcome Stamp Programme.
In addition, the following documents are required to be submitted along with the Customs Declaration:
1. Electronic Visa
2. Letter of Approval issued by the Immigration Department
3. Letter of Exemption
Please note the following template addressed to the Comptroller of Customs shall be used by Welcome Stampers or their Clearing Agents to apply for waiver of duties on imported items.
I ___________________ declare that I/we am /are approved under the Barbados Welcome Stamp Programme and is/are eligible for waiver of duties and taxes as per Ministry of Finance memorandum Ref# 5043/31/9 Vol.1 dated May 11, 2023.
Please be advised accordingly.

The Barbados Customs and Excise Department is aware of the technical Java Security Application message that some of the users are currently experiencing when trying to access ASYCUDA World. You are required to download the PDF by clicking on "Title Notice". By order of the Comptroller of Customs
Importers and Customs Brokers are advised that all Export documents: EX 1, EX 2 and EX 3, including all shipping bills must be processed at Shed 4.
Additionally, you are required to apply to the Barbados Port Authority for a QR Code to gain entry to the port.

The Barbados Customs and Excise Department advises the public that the units located in the Port Authority Building will be relocated on Monday, January 16, 2023, to facilitate the renovation of that building.
They will be relocated as follows:
• The Enforcement, Accounts and Onsite Units will be housed in the Cube Blue Building, Prescod Boulevard, Bridgetown, St. Michael.
• The cashiers will be accommodated at the Barbados Port Cargo Gate Facility.
• The Human Resource Management, Valuation and Project Units will be located at the office of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs and Investment, 3rd Floor East Wing, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael.
The Department regrets any inconvenience caused by the temporary relocation.
